1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using FleetApps (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all versions of FleetApps, including all branded variants (Fleet, Flock, Convoy, Pack, Flotilla, Caravan, Rally, Herd), which share a common codebase and backend.
2. Description of Service
FleetApps is a real-time group location sharing application. The App allows you to:
- Create or join live sessions with other users
- Share your precise GPS location with session members in real time
- View the locations of other session members on a shared map
- Indicate your travel mode (driving, walking, cycling, etc.)
The service is provided via Supabase cloud infrastructure. Availability is on an "as-is" basis and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted.
3. User Accounts
To use FleetApps, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly at hello@nyrai.ai if you believe your account has been compromised
One account is used across all branded variants of the App. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FleetApps to:
- Track, monitor, or surveil any person without their explicit, informed consent
- Harass, stalk, intimidate, or harm any individual
- Share another person's location without their knowledge and consent
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
5. Location Data Consent
By joining a session in FleetApps, you expressly consent to:
- Sharing your precise GPS location with other members of that session in real time
- Having your location stored transiently in our Supabase database for the duration of the session
You may withdraw this consent at any time by leaving or ending the session. Location collection stops immediately upon exit. You are responsible for ensuring that all participants in a session you create have also consented to location sharing.
Do not add individuals to a session without their knowledge and consent. Doing so may violate these Terms and applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, trademarks, brand names, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
No rights are granted beyond what is expressly stated here.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
USE OF THE APP FOR SAFETY-CRITICAL NAVIGATION OR EMERGENCY COORDINATION IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO NOT RELY SOLELY ON THIS APP IN SITUATIONS WHERE A FAILURE COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR HARM.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $10 USD IF THE APP WAS FREE).
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your account data will be removed from our systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you via the email address on your account, but are not obligated to do so.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Continued use of FleetApps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Massachusetts.
